Crew Information
If you're part of a touring crew, welcome! Our goal is to be your favourite venue on the tour, and so we've put together some welcome information to make your time with us as painless and fun as possible, and if you're lucky enough to have some time off in our beautiful country, we'd like to help you make the most of it.
The Auckland region is a cool place to enjoy the outdoors, so if you're into beaches, surfing, cycling, biking, or other adventure sports, we're happy to hook you up with the right people and places. The beach in the picture is about 5 minutes by car from the venue, and the island is a national park, accessible by a 30 minute ferry trip from just by the arena. It's easy to get out on the water here - numerous boats run trips to view dolphins, whales or go fishing, and the local ferries will take you to an island for a day touring vineyards and wine tasting.
Nicknamed the "City of Sails", Aucklanders have a passion for sailing, and touring crews, including Roger Waters' The Wall Live crew and Beyonce's Mrs Carter World Tour have enjoyed a day out sailing in the America's Cup Class Yacht NZL40/41, which is berthed just 10 minutes walk from the arena and local hotels. We hope you'll get the chance to give it a try while you're in town.
You can also easily walk to the Skytower, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere, where, if you are as brave as Beyonce, you can jump off for a controlled descent. If bungy jumping is more your thing, that's available locally out over the water from Auckland Harbour Bridge, and we'll be glad to get you in touch with the right people for a special venue rate. Rental of motorcycles, bicycles, kayaks, and more are also right on our doorstep.
